5.0 Glossary

Organization 5.0

The term Organization 5.0 describes an organization that focuses on the use of human skills combined with the technological potential of robots and intelligent systems. Such an organization encompasses three approaches: resilient, green and human-centric.

The Organization 5.0 is an important focal point of CoDEMO, as our goal is enhancing European innovation capacities in the field of value creation for 5.0 organizations.

5.0 Glossary

Resilience

The ability to adapt to adverse situations with positive results. In the context of Organization/Society 5.0 it refers to the requirement for improved production and supply chain robustness, to be more resistant to interruptions or in times of crisis. Resilience is one of the three main approaches of an Organization 5.0.

The CoDEMO Project supports resilience by focusing on competencies oriented toward human and green values, which can reinforce a resilient socio-economic growth.

Knowledge

The outcome of the assimilation of information through learning. Knowledge is the body of facts, principles, theories and practices that is related to a field of work or study.

CoDEMO aims to innovate on the way to deliver knowledge, in collaboration with both academic universities and vocational training entities. To open the access to a large audience, a mix of face to face and blended learning solutions will be developed and adopted.

Skills

The ability to apply knowledge and use know-how to complete tasks and solve problems. They can be cognitive (involving the use of logical, intuitive and creative thinking) or practical (involving manual dexterity and the use of methods, materials, tools and instruments).

CoDEMOs ambition is to use practical learning situations to catalyze the in-practice emergence of skills and competencies, supporting a higher professionalization.
